Bianem-AF
Bianem-AF (biapenem) is a drug for the empiric treatment of severe nosocomial and community-acquired infections caused by multi-resistant strains of bacteria (such as ESBL producers and Pseudomonas aeruginosa).

Brief instructions for the medical use of Bianem-AF

Contraindications: a history of hypersensitivity to biapenem or other drugs of the carbapenem group; severe hypersensitivity (anaphylactic reactions, severe skin reactions) to any antibacterial agent with a beta-lactam structure (i.e., to penicillins, cephalosporins); simultaneous use with valproic acid preparations; children under 18.
Method of administration and dosage: Bianem-AF is intended only for intravenous infusion. The dose and duration of therapy should be adjusted according to the type and severity of the infection and the patient condition. Usually, the daily dose of the drug is 0.6 g, divided into 2 injections every 12 hours, intravenously drip for 30-60 minutes. In severe infections, the dose may be increased. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 1.2 g. The duration of drug therapy should not exceed the minimum required time to treat the disease.
